I’m Michelangelo, a professional and enthusiastic 360° Digital Art Director and UX/UI/IX Designer from Rome, based in London. I have more than 12 years experience, latterly at a senior level in Digital Design and Web Advertising.

My Background

Having lectured in Computer Graphics – Adobe Photoshop – Illustrator – Fireworks – indesign and more. I’ve worked across a number of business sectors and ran my own small Digital Agency in Rome – I moved to London in 2011 to broaden my portfolio to include more non-domestic, blue chip brands. I have a broad design base in sectors such as fashion retail, gaming, financial services, media, online ticketing, Luxury real-estate, cosmetics medicine, sport, architecture, engineering and not-for-profit.

My latest experience it was at BBC – Future Media – iPlayer where I’ve worked alongside Creative Direction, Product Managers and Developers on different projects such as BBC TV Guide, iPlayer Download Manager Application and MyProgramme/Purchase (part of BBC Store).

During my time with the company, I have projected completely the new responsive website, increasing page views & SEO rankings, enhancing the creative side of their email marketing campaign and improving click-through rate. I produced strong UX, increasing PPC conversion and I developed the technical side of their social media strategy.

I provided creative input on design work through to its final production. I have leaded the project to ensure the highest perfect pixel output on large scale Mobile eCommerce site for the Asia’s number one Pharmacy & Drugstore brand. Watsons first made its foray into the Singapore market in April 1988 with the opening of a 4,000 square feet store at Marina Square and it has since expanded rapidly throughout the years and has evolved itself in line with the proposition to help customers have fun “Looking Good, Feeling Great”.
